As you are aware, the holding of Laboratory and Clinical Congresses over the past two decades, as a strategic initiative with the presence of elites, thinkers, and distinguished professors of the country’s clinical and medical laboratory community, has been able to play an important role in bringing these two large and important groups closer together and in creating greater coordination between them within the national health system, and has yielded beneficial outcomes. In this regard, the Iranian Society of Laboratory Professionals has so far organized sixteen International Laboratory and Clinical Congresses, and God willing, we are honored to announce the holding of the 17th International Laboratory and Clinical Congress from February 4 to 6, 2026 (15–17 Bahman 1404) at Allameh Amini Hall, University of Tehran.
This year’s congress, while encompassing all laboratory fields, will be held with the theme “New Opportunities and Challenges; From Diagnosis to Clinic,” through specialized panels by renowned clinical and medical laboratory professors of the country and with the participation of the society’s member associations and the corresponding clinical associations. In previous congresses, foreign and domestic experts have presented their valuable views and experiences on the topics under discussion and have examined and analyzed each topic from clinical and laboratory perspectives. Therefore, panel sessions as well as specialized training workshops have been strongly welcomed by participants. In fact, through holding such congresses, communication between physicians and laboratory professionals has been strengthened, and each group has become increasingly familiar with the challenges and problems of the other group. It is evident that this synergy will be highly beneficial in finding new and scientific solutions.
In conclusion, all professors, experts, researchers, laboratory fellows, associate degree holders, experts, and students of various levels and fields of laboratory sciences, as well as physicians, professors, and clinical specialists of the country, are invited to participate in this scientific congress and, if possible, to submit the abstracts of their valuable papers, thereby providing the grounds for the more splendid holding of this diverse and extensive congress.
